Jonquille graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa Common Law Program in 2006. She was a recipient of several major entrance and research scholarships. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University with Dean’s Honour distinction in 2002. In 2003, Jonquille won the AD Scott Fellowship and completed a Masters degree in economics from the University of British Columbia. While attending law school, Jonquille worked at the University of Ottawa legal clinic in 2004 and completed a legal internship with the Organization of American States in Santiago, Chile in 2005. Jonquille previously worked in Toronto with a management-side labour and employment firm. She articled with Emond Harnden in 2006 and joined the firm as an associate in 2007. Jonquille is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and the Ontario Bar Association.
