Fluently bilingual, André manages a substantial litigation and arbitration practice with proceedings in both French and English. André was called to the Bar in 1987 and joined Emond Harnden in 1992 with a special interest in the area of wrongful dismissal, and has since expanded his practice to include a diverse range of labour and employment issues for both public and private sector clients. An active and committed member of the community, André is a former Trustee, Vice-Chair and Chair of the Ottawa Roman Catholic Separate School Board, and has been involved in a number of community organizations including L’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Ontario, Le Regroupment des gens d’affaires and the Labour Law Group of the County of Carleton Law Association.
