Paula is Director of Research at Emond Harnden, tracking labour and employment law developments for the firm’s newsletter and email alerts and providing research for the firm’s extensive client training programs. Paula has expertise in preparing interest arbitration briefs, particularly in the healthcare sector, and is highly knowledgeable in the area of healthcare sector labour relations. She also co-ordinates the firm’s articling student program. Paula is a graduate of Dalhousie University, with a B.A. in Political Science, and has a certificate in French as a Second Language from Laval University. She is active in the Ottawa community, as Treasurer of the Orlando Park Revitalization Group established in 2001 to revitalize one of Ottawa’s older neighbourhood parks.
